Bonesville.net and Bonesville Media
Services are operating units of Carolina Data Systems, a
computer company based in Havelock, NC, with offices in
Fayetteville, NC, Kinston, NC, Marion, NC, and New Bern, NC. CDS was
established in 1987 by East Carolina University alum Danny Whitford, who is still the
company’s President and CEO. A provider of computer and data
communications solutions to 125 local government agencies
across North Carolina, the company’s expertise in network
technologies and software development combined with the founder’s background in
journalism led CDS to launch the Bonesville.net initiatives in
Internet and print publishing in 2001.
